The workplace loneliness risk is akin to smoking 15 cigarettes a day, potentially reducing lifespan by seven years. The lack of company brand and company culture has brought a decrease in retention and employee health. In 2023, "51% of the American workforce reported consistent loneliness," as per a study by Vivek H. Murthy. To combat this, companies are focusing on culture-driven events to promote growth and retain clients and employees.
